Winner Bath Walk - Scott Kelby 2014 Photo Walk

Scott Kelby's WorldWide Photowalk took place in October and for the second year running I attended the Glyn Dewis walk, this time it was held in Bath and a surprise guest came along too - none other than Scott Kelby himself.   A great day was had by all and I managed a few shots that I was reasonably happy with.   

I submitted my black and white image of Bath Weir (a 7 shot panorama) and was over the moon to receive the news from Glyn that my image had won the local Bath Walk competition :) my prize was a years subscription to KelbyOne and a copy of Glyn's amazing Photoshop Workbook (an excellent book I might add).  Shortly afterwards my image also received an Honorary Mention from Scott Kelby in the International competition :D

Highly Commended Sir Harold Hillier Garden Photography Competition 2013

In the summer I decided to enter another competition this time with Harold Hillier Gardens.  I submitted my Iris in the Rain (which I actually photographed in the gardens) and I was lucky again and received a commendation and was on display at the gardens.

Runner up Whitefriars Canterbury in Bloom Photography Competition 2013

My friend Louise suggested I should enter the Canterbury in Bloom competition,  I had never entered a photography competition before and thought I might as well just for fun.   Imagine my surprise when I came runner up :) I won £100 and my image was printed on a banner and displayed in the Whitefriars Shopping Area in Canterbury :D
